Service guidelines for maintaining your mooring.
Per the Town of Kingston, all chains/moorings must be inspected after 3 years. Chains larger than 5/8" will be inspected but not replaced until needed. That means I will replace the chain in the spring of 4th year. Moorings that are exposed at low tide will have the benefit of me being able to inspect all of the equipment, right down to the block every year. Moorings that are on the flats at low tide will be inspected first and the chains will be replaced. Moorings that are in the channel require me to scuba dive and will be replaced at that time. I will be logging your name and date of chain replacement for future scheduled servicing. If your name is highlighted in red, it means you are due for an inspection / replacement. Blue is an inactive mooring that is the owner has asked me not to service. These blocks may be available for sale. White is just a mooring that I will service soon. Contact Harry for details.
